Quick Fire Profits Review
Did Matt Benwell really make $11,471 in his first
2 weeks online … and can you do it too?
Quick Fire Profits is a new video-based membership site to help a complete beginner make money online.
You will see on the page there how much income Matt Benwell made when he was completely new to internet marketing and nobody special … he describes himself as a ’surf bum’, although he did have a job. It just wasn’t enough to keep him out of debt.
Then he learnt a few techniques on making money online from his successful brother Rob (best known for Blogging To The Bank) and within 14 days Matt had $11,471 in his Clickbank account.
The obvious implication is that you, John or Jane Doe, with no experience, can do the same. You just need someone like Rob or Matt to show you how it’s done. But is it true?
I got to take a sneaky look inside the members’ area earlier this week. I tried to look with the eyes of a complete newcomer, because that’s who QFP is aimed at - people who have hardly even made a dollar online yet, although maybe they have been trying. This is what I found.
In the first month, you get 4 money-making techniques. There are also some bonuses but I didn’t look at those, I just concentrated on the Benwell techniques.
I don’t have the right to tell you exactly what the techniques are, of course. But I can give you some hints and I will tell you what I like and what I don’t like about this site.
What I like about Quick Fire Profits
These techniques are presented in videos, and what I really like about this site is that the videos are truly step-by-step for people who don’t know where to start. If that is you, you are going to find this WAY easier to make money from than all the other stuff you have downloaded.
In one of the videos for technique #1, Matt shows you how to set up the absolute simplest website in the absolute simplest way. I loved watching this! I wish I had known it could be so easy when I started out!
There is also a video showing you how to open a Clickbank account. How many sites or ebooks that are aimed at newbies take the trouble to show you that? This one does! And it’s all in separate short videos, so if you already have a Clickbank account, you don’t have to watch it. You just skip that video.
Of the four techniques, two of them are free to do. The other two have costs.
If you go for anything with costs, be prepared to start small so that you can afford to lose a little while you are learning. It is vital to stick with it through this phase. You need to find out what works and drop what doesn’t. That’s how you get into profit. If you cannot afford to do this, pick #1 or #4 which have no costs.
My guess is that #3 would be the most profitable, but also the riskiest.
Cost
At $29.95 I think this is great value for money for the 4 techniques you get in the first month.
What I don’t like about Quick Fire Profits
1. The videos inside the members area don’t open in a new window/tab, so if
you close the window at the end of each video, you have lost the site. You have
to log in to the member’s area over again and find where you were. OK, I know
it’s no big deal, but it’s the kind of thing that annoys me 
2. While I believe that yes, Matt Benwell could have made $11,471 into his Clickbank account in his first 2 weeks using techniques like these, I don’t believe he did it without any costs. So what was his profit? Like most internet marketers, he doesn’t tell us that. Matt’s just following tradition here, I guess … but I wish he wouldn’t!
3. On the sales page, he promises a free video showing you a great money-making technique for signing up to his list. At the time I tried this, it didn’t work too well. The email containing the link for the video didn’t arrive for hours and when it did, it was just some prelaunch publicity for Quick Fire Profits. Unless I fell asleep, there was no money-making technique in there. So don’t waste your time waiting for that. If you want to know how to make money, you’ve gotta join.

The first training module is all about article marketing. Here you’ll learn how to become a Click Bank affiliate, choose a product to promote. Quickfire Profits is the latest membership site for those looking to make money online. It's the brainchild of Matt and Rob Benwell, and it works on the K.I.S.S. principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid).
In this review I'm going to go over what Matt and Rob have done and outline what I see are the advantages and disadvantages of their system.
Keep It Simple, Stupid
Matt and Rob Benwell claim to be simple people who have made a killing on the internet with little or no effort. In fact, one of the brothers claims to have started his Internet money making career by making over $11,000 in two weeks by working about an hour a day. Naturally, that got my attention, as I'll admit I would rather make a lot of money efficiently by doing what needs to be done, taking out unnecessary steps. So, I joined when it was launched yesterday.
Matt and Rob are filling a hole in the membership site market. Usually these sites revolve around copious written instructions on what to do to make money which can very easily leave you with information overload. They've tried to simplify matters, but may have taken it a little too far in the other direction. I guess time will tell.
When I joined the site I was given the option of spending more money on their "How to make a million" tutorial. I declined that offer since I had no idea what the value of their information would be. In a way I'm glad I did, because I think this site needs to mature more in order to give value to its members at the basic information level.
How this system works
Matt and Rob Benwell have decided to move away from text instruction and instead the majority of the tutorials within the membership area take place with the aid of videos. The videos range in time from about 3-8 minutes in length, so that you are not getting too much iinformation all at once. This is a good move, and it also allows you to act on the iinformation at the end of each video. This is a good way to learn.
I found the instruction clear and easy to follow, but as with all of these types of things you need a notebook beside you to make certain you don't miss any steps.
From my point of view where the tutorials fall down is that there is not enough written instruction to back it up. I know that they wanted to keep this simple, but in reality the amount of written information is instead sparse.
So far I have only looked in depth at two of the modules: Affiliate Article Submission and Freelance Fortunes, since these are the "free" ways of making money. Be aware with Article Submission, if you follow their formula, you will still have to pay for a website (not provided by them, but they show you how to do it). Furthermore, their website suggestion will undoubtedly get your article rejected from EzineArticles since it's against their editorial guidelines.
I have only looked at the surface of their freelance techniques, and have yet to test them out, so I can't comment too fully on their instructions.
From the Affiliate Article Marketing area
For the real beginner I think Quickfire Profits would be a real bonus. It has clear and easy to follow instructions, using simple language. This is what people need to get started.I don't know that it's worth an ongoing fee, though. Matt and Rob Benwell need to add more information to the site, and I think they'd be advised to have some kind of messageboard as well so that members can interact and give hints, etc, on their journey to make money on the internet.
Matt and Rob have said that they will be adding continually to the site to make it more value for money. Their emphasis appears to be on time saving tools to make it easy for the marketer to get going and stay focussed on what needs to be done to make money.
I am going to give the site another month to see what value they add, and how quickly they add it before passing final judgement on whether this is the site for me,
I would recommend this site if you are new to Internet Marketing in its many forms because it's a low impact introduction. If you are an experienced marketer you will most probably find you already know a lot of the information provided anyway, and won't get as much benefit out of the site. I'm yet to see if I can make Quickfire Profits via this system. I will update this review as I get more information.

Quickfire Profits - My Final Opinion
Quickfire Profits is a membership site for Internet Marketers that outlines techniques for making money online. Previously, I have written two other hubs, here and here, on this site, and this will be my final say on the subject.
I cancelled my membership in the last week, since I didn't want another charge on my credit card. I'm not about to lambast the site, or say that it is a scam, because I don't think it is. There's a lot of useful information there if you want to look for it. There were many ideas that worked on the site for me, and others that didn't. I'll discuss them below.
The Good and the Bad Points
Quickfire Profits has its good and bad point, like many programs of this type.
The Good:
- The videos: One of the best ways of learning is visually, and I liked the video presentations. Not only were they easy to follow, they were informative as well.
- They don't rely on jargon. As you get further and further into any field jargon begins to replace everyday words. It can be hard for anyone trying to learn because they have to translate the words. Thankfully, the Benwells kept that jargon to a minimum.
- The site was updated regularly. There was one round of information updating, in the way of extra videos, and one free offer in the time I was active on the site.
The Bad:
- The videos were not backed up with written information. In fact, written information was kept to a minimum. I would have liked to have seen more written information, since that is one of the best ways to learn. Visual, followed by written, followed by practical. Rinse, wash repeat. I felt the lack on this site.
- There was no board or any type of interaction between members. That is not to say there wasn't an email addy so that you could contact the Benwells with any questions that you might have, but the site really needs a board. I'm going to expand on this below.
What Separates a Great Membership Site from an Okay One?
I thought that Quickfire Profits was an okay membership site, but would never be a great one without some changes. The main change required was a way for members to interact not only with the Benwells, but with each other.
Have you ever wondered why places like Facebook and MySpace are so addictive? Active boards such as the Warrior Forum are The Place To Be if you are an Internet marketer. The reason is that they give value beyond the effort required to go there. A great membership site has a board, and an active one at that, for the same reason. It's not just about the creators of the site, but the members as well. If you give members the right environment, they'll expand on your ideas and do half the work for you. An active, welcoming board is worth its weight in gold. It helps make a membership site addictive because you need to go back for more and more. It helps retain members beyond when they've sucked up all the videos and written information on your site.
I think that's why I thought Quickfire Profits was okay but not great. The information was passed on in a passive manner. The site still has the potential to be more than what it is, if the creators are willing to put in the effort.
My Final Recommendation
I cancelled my membership to the site, but didn't ask for a refund. I thought that they had a unique perspective on how to do things such as article marketing, and gave me some ideas on how to do some aspects of marketing that I hadn't previously thought of. That alone was worth the price of admission.
My recommendation is that if you are curious, sign up and take a look at what they have to offer, but when you've got what you need, cancel your membership. Quickfire Profits is not a scam, and it is an okay membership site with potential to be more.

By now I think most people in the world are online or have access to the
