Guru Slayer Review
Guru Slayer is a guide written by Andrew Fox. This guide is a journal of Andrew's success online. The guide only has 55 pages, it cuts straight to the point from the beginning. There are no fluff and hype there.
The system and techniques described in the guide are tested and proven by Andrew. He has been using this system to earn over $74,000 in just 6 weeks from only two affiliate products. You can see the proof and watch the video at his official site.
But is this guide useful for you? Is it worth your money?
Well, if you are an experienced internet marketers already making thousands a month then this guide may not be for you. You may have already been using most of the techniques discussed in the guide.
However, if you are still struggling to make some decent money online, you want to check out this guide because it will open your eyes with its simplicity approach in making a killing online. You may find the missing links in this guide. Sometimes it's just one piece that you need to put in action in order to see that results coming in.
If you're just started out, this guide can serve as a step by step blueprint for you to start your online journey on the right path. You will have the advantage of using the tested and proven money making system from the beginning. It's very easy to find and learn these basic concepts on the Net. To save your time, you can just download this ebook "The Beginner's Affiliate Handbook" for free. You can learn all the basics about affiliate marketing there.

Is it a moneymaking magnet?
Does it deliver successful affiliate marketing tips?
Will it end your search for home business products?
Having just read this ebook I would have to say that the book does have a lot of useful tips in it BUT is fell short in some departments.
The book focuses largely on setting up your own product to sell and how to go about marketing the product. This starts as early as chapter 2. This, in my view, does not help any newbie who wants to try their hand at internet marketing. I don't know about you but I didn't have a product to sell when I first started out. So from the start we have established that the book is going to appeal to a more experienced market.
This product introduces good ideas and techniques to obtain the buzzwords and find out what products are hot.
It covers in detail about how to obtain resale rights to products that relate to the niche market you have discovered. I had never come across this technique in any other ebook I have read. The downside is that resale rights cost money but on the upside you could easily make that money back within days.
The content about auto responders is very useful. Andrew shows you how and what to write to make your auto responder emails count.
Andrew spends a lot of time promoting his other successful program DominatingCB.com. He uses the sites pages as examples and at some points reading the book I felt a bit sick of the self-promoting which is employed. He also name drops a lot of his friends products like Day Job Killer. There really was no need for that.
I think when you cut to the chase and wade through the piles of "how great I am" you find some very useful tips and techniques that will increase your traffic, improve the amount of names on your list and more importantly make you money. I wouldn't recommend this book to a complete beginner, as it doesn't give you an understanding of how to get started. This book is aimed at those people already set up with an understanding of how the system works.
Will you make money using the techniques in the book?
Most definitely but they require a bit of money spent to make them work.
I give this book a 4/5 for money making potential. Definitely worth buying despite the constant self-promotion.
This eBook is basically about the methods that Andrew Fox actually uses to create products and make a very healthy living online. It's aimed at beginners to intermediate level marketers and has been designed in a straight forward, easy to read manner.
The Guru Slayer is only fifty five pages long which at first shocked me a bit as most of this type of genre are considerably longer, in fact it made me slightly dubious as to how Andrew Fox was going to fit all that he knew in to a 'small space' but he has with the Guru Slayer. He has cut out a lot of the waffle that makes up the content of many of the others and left the bare facts of how to make money on the internet.
Straight from the off he makes the promise that the methods are 'tried and tested' leaving the hype, fluff and fancy wording at the door. And I must admit it reads exactly like that. The step by step methods are refreshing and very simple to understand even I could use them, here are some of the methods that he reveals in the Guru Slayer:
* The affiliate programs that Andrew has promoted and why he chose them
* The idea and method of front and backend selling
* Developing your own products and how to market them (my favourite chapter)
So in conclusion the Guru Slayer is a very good book that should be read by the beginner to intermediate marketer. As I've said above the ideas are very simple, deceptively so and will build the marketing arsenal of any affiliate starting out.

I have bought Andrew Fox's products before, and I have to say that I never quite liked them because they were repeating information that most affiliate marketers know about. The products that I have bought before include Guru Slayer and Dominating CB. Andrew Fox is definitely a great marketer in my opinion, but I've always felt like his teaching methods could be better. On the day CB Affiliate Formula was released, I realized that only the first 1,000 members could get the $77 per month offer, so I snapped it up as soon as I could to use the risk free guarantee.
There is a lot of information in the membership, with the videos being the most important. The first guide that caught my eye was the one that teaches you how to promote to your list to generate an amazing response. I personally have built up several small lists in various niches, but if you don't, Andrew takes you through the entire process of Internet Marketing, and list building is definitely a big part of it. Using the steps Andrew described, I looked for a product and immediately tried it out on the niche list. Within a couple of hours, I had more than 5 sales.
I went back to review the CB Affiliate Formula, and realized that this would be a great tool for every affiliate marketer (or anyone who is less successful than Andrew Fox). It lays out a formula that is capable of taking an affiliate from having nothing (no lists, no websites, no products), to slowly build up an internet asset that generates consistent income. The added video tutorials made me want to take action easily, because all I had to do was go to every website Andrew went to, point and click everything exactly as the video tells me to.
You should keep your expectations of CB Affiliate Formula in check though, and not expect to make thousands within a day. Affiliate marketing is still a difficult business to get into, because of the intense IM competition on the web today. What CB Affiliate Formula really accomplished for me was that it made it easy for me to “take action”. For me, success in affiliate marketing, or life in general, is all about taking action. To be able to do that, you must have the right blueprint, and know where your action takes you. If you can do that, you would be ahead of 99% of the marketers out there.

Do you feel like you understand affiliate marketing, but when you look at your results, you realize you don’t have much to show for it? CB Affiliate Formula is going to change everything for you, and FORCE you to take all the actions that 6 figure affiliate marketers use to promote every single product. Affiliate marketing is a modern method of promoting web businesses in which an affiliate, or publisher is rewarded for every visitor, subscriber, customer, who clicks on his promoted site, along with the sale provided through his or her efforts. This new level of marketing uses one site to drive traffic to another site, and is considered to be one of the main vehicles of online marketing.
While search engines, e-mail and RSS seize much of the attention of online retailers, affiliate marketing, despite lineage that goes back almost to the beginning of online retailing, carries a bit lower profile however. Despite that low profile, affiliates still continue to play a major role in an online retailers' marketing scheme.
The best selling-products in the affiliate marketing realm lately have been How-To guides and strategies for effective affiliate and niche marketing. Most of these guides and manuals, generally listed in major affiliate marketing start-up sites, offer what they term as "fool-proof" and "proven" techniques for making money through affiliate programs and niche marketing while working at home and at your own pace.
One of the top-selling affiliate-marketing products these days according to marketing analysts is the "The Guru Slayer" by Andrew Fox. Fox's marketing tool outlines how to maximize online profits and set-up and increase customer lists that are trained to "cram cash" into your bank account. Fox's manual gives users a "sneak-peek" into his own successful promotions and explains the steps that have brought him financial success. The best thing about the "The Guru Slayer", according to Zoobie TV, is that Andrew fills the e-book with details of real-life examples of his best campaigns.
Another top-selling Affiliate product is the "
The tool announces that "All you need is an Adwords account, and to sign up for the internet's top affiliate programs", and your all set, even if you don't have a website for starters. Google Cash, written by Adwords honcho Chris Carpenter, teaches budding affiliate marketers how to use affiliate network such as Linkshare, Commission Junction, and Clickbank to rake in profits and expand their networks.
A current top-seller too these days is Derrick VanDyke's "Affiliate Cash Secrets." Affiliate Cash Secrets is, according to critics, a course on how to make loads of money with other people's websites, and it says the best part of this is that "you don't have to deal with customers, stock inventory, or create your own product".
The realm of affiliate marketing, is definitely driven by entrepreneurs who are working at the forefront of new Internet marketing trends. Affiliates are the first to take advantage of newly-emerging trends and technologies where established advertisers do not dare to be active.
The rise of blogging, interactive online communities and other new technology, websites and services based on the platforms that are now called Web 2.0 have made a significant impact on the affiliate marketing world. The new medium has allowed merchants to get closer to their affiliates and improve communication between each other, and the recent developments have made it harder for dishonorable affiliates to make money. A new string of regulations and codes-of-conduct have been put in place to prevent the rise of scammers and false affiliates, and provide a regulatory framework for established and legitimate affiliate networks to make profits legally.

The Guru Slayer, the Day Job Killer, and the Internet Whizz Kid are supposed to be three answers to how anyone can make bucketloads of cash as an affiliate marketer. Do they work? And which is best? Should you part with your money to get one?
Don't be put off by the names - obviously the Guru Slayer was inspired by the Day Job Killer - it is just that these guys think they need a daft name to attract attention. They are probably right. All three of these guys make a lot of money from affiliate and other sales, but that does not mean you and I can benefit from these methods. So where do we start?
I've reviewed all these methods, and was not enthusiastic about any at the start. The Day Job Killer follows on from Affiliate Project X, and is a thorough review of some really interesting undercover techniques that don't require you to have a web site. What you do need is quite a bit of time to do your research and find the best keywords and advertisements to run.
The good thing about it is that you do not need to spend a lot of money on tools or products. You can do most of this research just by surfing the net. Some of these methods require you to be a bit hard-nosed, and not worry if you upset a few people.
The Whizz Kid himself, Steven, is an upstart, who is doing very well out of affiliate sales, but he spends the first 20 of the 50 pages telling you about things most people who have read a bit of stuff on the internet and bought a few e-books will know. Later on he does talk about some methods you can use but they are not new.
Whizzkid is self-serving
In fact, the only thing you get that is new, so far as I could see, is a web
page or two to sell his Whizzkid book – the thing you've just bought. Well,
that is affiliate marketing, to be sure, but it is self-serving. No doubt loads
of people have got the web site, dutifully signed up at quite an expensive web
host, and then found that they did not make any money. I'm sure you can make
money this way, but it is limited, and the Whizzkid book will not be in vogue
for very long. No, that is not the best way of starting as an affiliate.
OK, then what about the Guru Slayer? Well, I will say this is different. It follows on from Dominating CB. Yes, this is about affiliate marketing, but Andrew also reckons you need our own products to make money on the internet, and in this case the affiliates are the people selling your product. He gives some advice on how to go down this route, and this is an interesting way of building a business. He does make the point that you need to work his methods as a business to make money with affiliate or product sales.
Andrew also shows how he made $39,014.56 in affiliate sales selling, guess what? Day Job Killer! This should get you excited, but there is a slight catch – you need a big list of potential buyers before you can use this method, and he has just that. Sure, he shows you what you need to do to build your list, and so long as you are patient you can make this work.
But I did find some really good stuff in here, such as:
Pitfalls to avoid, and how to maximize profits – page 21;
The best places to advertise – pages 31-32;
He gives his methods for getting traffic beginning on page 33;
Several of his actual letters that made him money – these are scattered through the book:
On Page 48 he reveals some really good affiliate programs that pay well and make good sales – I will tell you here and now that I have never seen any other marketer reveal this sort of stuff. So these things get Guru Slayer the thumbs up.
Once you put all this together, you will see that here is something that will help you make money on the internet. I recommend The Guru Slayer, the Day Job Killer, and the Internet Whizz Kid are supposed to be three answers to how anyone can make bucketloads of cash as an affiliate marketer. Do they work? And which is best? Should you part with your money to get one?

The methods Chris uses can be duplicated by anyone, and so long as you keep a tight control of your advertising budget, you can make good money with the minimum of 'stuff'. so long as you are ready to build a list of subscribers, and want to build a business.

As an Internet and Affiliate Marketer I follow the new product launches diligently because they are both an opportunity for easy income and a pulse of the market.
That’s how I came across Guru Slayer, the new release by Andrew Fox, scheduled for April 10th, 11am Eastern Time.
The graphics are hot. The email delivery services are revving at maximum RPM. Yes folks, this is the next “Big One”.
I have a review copy and everything is fine and dandy except…
What does the book I hold in my hands have to do with the name “Guru Slayer”? I read it twice trying to answer that question but to no avail.
And then the opening copy “The ebook that’s about shock the world and turn the internet marketing world upside down”.
Huh?
I'm afraid i don't quite get it.
Internet marketing has trends. Adwords Black Book by Mister X was probably the detonator that set off the chain reaction.
The trend grew stronger with Affiliate Project X and it found substantial validation since both products were border line excellent.
After that, the Death of Adsense was ceremoniously announced.
Then began to sprout the “me too” slap, slay, punish, torture crowd. The trend was in full steam and the monster was born.
Day Job Killer:
The only thing released in 2007 that could do a guru any kind of harm, financially speaking. And that should have been the end of that marketing trend.
It would have been tasteful. But this industry isn’t known for that.
Instead, we need to see things go down in flames. Like the superstar athlete that hangs on too long and gets booed off the court, a sad end to an otherwise glorious career.
Some people are going to say it after Guru Slayer. I’ll say it right now:
Enough with the guru bashing already. Only put the hat on if it fits. Be original for Pete’s sake, are we really that thin on marketing stories?
My guru related ramblings end here.
But don’t leave this article with the wrong idea in mind. Guru Slayer is not a bad product. It has some very strong merits.
Andrew Fox is known for delivering quality and helping his customers succeed, only the marketing is a little off...

The Guru Slayer by Andrew Fox. Very much hyped up on the run up to it's release. Then when it was released it broke clickbanks weekly sales record (or some record anyway) and went on to make Mr. Fox another fortune.
So, is it any good? Nope! Like most other "make money online e-books" it's full of the same old tips, tricks and tactics you can find for free in marketing forms all over the Internet!
If you really want to make money online the best thing you can do is follow the example of the guru slayers author and write a "make money on the internet" book yourself and sell it to people that really are struggling to make ends meet and think that these kind of e-books will change their life around.
Yes! Your right! I do think guru slayer is nothing but a con! Just like Andrew Fox’s other e-books, the only person that will make a fortune with them is Andrew Fox.
It's all about clever marketing. "Learn the secrets the gurus don't want you to know" "ex guru turns his back no the industry and reveals the secrets they have been using to con you out of your money". Those are the lines I fell for. I knew deep down that it would not make me wealthy but I just couldn't resist! So I bought it. Then I read it. Then I had a case of the buyers’ remorse.
I'm still suffering from that buyers remorse today because now I’m on Andrew Foxes mailing list he's kind enough to send me emails telling me that I'm about to miss the easiest chance I’m ever going to have to make money online. Of course I feel very lucky that he’s sending me these "can't miss offers". He truly is a gentleman for letting me be among the few he's saving these offers for.
Oh wait, hold on a minute though. Now I think about it these "can't miss offers" he's telling me about all come at a price. If he's such a decent guy and really wants me or anyone else to make money why is he charging for them? Because he couldn't give a rats harmonica about anyone but himself that’s why!
That's not really fair of me to say that, I don't know him personally, he might well be a nice guy. What I do know is that he said he wants to help people. Just for once I’d like to see him prove that statement by actually giving something away for nothing instead of constantly trying to add to the Andrew Fox pension fund with every thing he puts his name too!
So to summarize: The Guru slayer is just a very well marketed gimmick!
Don't buy anything that promises to make you rich. These things only make one person rich and it's sure as hell not you. It's the person that sold it to you!

The Guru Slayer, the latest release from Andrew Fox, a
young Internet marketer from
The Guru Slayer is a methodology, or a blueprint that Andrew Fox has devised and claims to be his “insider secret” to dominating any niche he enters. Many outside the big guru circles would immediately assume that the way big name marketers do the huge numbers they do is because of their massive mailing lists and JV partners. But Andrew claims that The Guru Slayer will teach even a newbie on how to compete in the “shark” infested waters of Internet marketing, even without a huge list.
Andrew’s apparent goal of The Guru Slayer then, is to clean out the Internet of the “get rich quick” and other slick and deceptive marketing schemes that pervade even the farthest reaches of the Net. But as some may quickly criticize, “The Guru Slayer” appears to be marketed with an anti-guru approach, which has become an increasingly popular way to create a massive buzz, and in turn create more sales. The end result is that the “anti-guru” becomes the “anti-guru guru”, and the cycle continues. Is The Guru Slayer more of the same?
Amid some apparent confusion of the term “guru”, inside The Guru Slayer, the gurus Andrew is referring to are actually the deceptive marketing sharks. He points out that these are people who are here today gone tomorrow, taking your money with them and leaving you with frustration and disappointment. (Hence the reason for the title The Guru Slayer) He also notes that there are some real “gurus”, but instead chooses to call them “pioneers”, people who we can trust. These are marketers who have effectively made a name for themselves and deliver quality products.
Only time will tell as the results from the customers who purchase The Guru Slayer come back, but according to Andrew’s special report on The Guru Slayer, his small test group of affiliates did pretty well with his strategies. These were people who previously never saw success, but following the steps in The Guru Slayer, were able to increase profits, create their own JV’s, launch their own buzz product via resale products, or simply finally find some success with affiliate marketing.
From what I’ve read and seen, I believe that The Guru Slayer is the real deal. The methods are somewhat new to most newbie marketers and will surely inspire some creative ideas for the affiliates of 2007. If you’ve purchased Dominating Clickbank, The Guru Slayer introduces a similar strategy of purchasing the resale rights to a product and listing it in Clickbank, but other than that, most of The Guru Slayer methods are totally new and unique.
The Guru Slayer appears to be a genuine product, honestly designed to help the “little-guy” affiliate have a chance at success in the fast moving and super competitive world of Internet marketing. Of course as with any important buying decision, you should do your due diligence on and get some feedback from the field from other’s owners of The Guru Slayer. Find out what they liked, what they disliked, and most important, find out if the system worked for them. A key ingredient with any new money making plan or system is taking action. So if you do purchase The Guru Slayer, take action and you’ll be one step ahead of the rest who buy it but are still afraid of the shark infested waters.
